  1. If only we would have won today would have been a good day. Now it was just a day that was pretty good.

  2. Can I just say that while the loss sucks, I’d like to give a shout out to the refs in this game. I think this was a very well officiated game. No egregious calls, a few honest mistakes, good communication. I just wanted to point this out since it is refreshing

  3. This was a close game, against a good young team giving the champs their best shot in front of a hot home crowd. Get used to it on this road stretch.

Bench played them even without Jok both halves, no matter what the doomer geniuses will tell you. If you want to develop these kids, this is the kind of game where you do that.

The vaunted clutch defense by the starters was just not there this game, and Jok passed up a chance to tie it in favor of putting up two with no timeouts left. No matter how much time the refs took off the clock, that’s just a rare brainfart from the big guy.

  4. Relax people. Jamal Murray is a very important part of this team. He’ll be back soon enough. They don’t need to be in peak form in November without their 2nd best player. All of the sudden doomers are acting like the NBA Cup is the Larry O’Brien. I truly hope doomers do a better job handling a little adversity in their real lives than you do watching sports.

  5. 4:14 Magic run to start the 4th before Jok came back in, 42 points given in the 4th. Just a total collapse. That being said, that jump foul sequence that wasn’t called was just trash. Onto the next one.

  6. Been an ugly roadie. Important to remember that we were 14-10 heading into Portland in that game that sparked our run to the 1st seed. Bad stretches in November do not make a season

  7. With the road record being so terrible again, we need to get the 1st seed so the team can rely on home court. Also, there’s a really good chance this road trip ends 1-4.

  8. Wouldn’t have been as frustrated with this one if Nuggets didn’t make some stupid decisions at the end there. Orlando is a good team, so a loss was possible on the road, just not sure why no one tried to shoot a 3 at the end, even if it was forced.

Still having problems with defense, much more so because other teams seem to have figured out that attacking Jokic and MPJ out of the PnR with a quicker smaller guy seems to be the most reliable way to score on us.

  9. I don’t want to pile on the young man too much, but I swear I’ve never seen back to back airballed 3s from one player as bad as what Pickett did there. That was an unflattering little trip down the court for him.

  10. I get developing players and all but if Strawther continues chucking contested bricks we’re better off playing Holiday.

Pwat and Zeke were dog shit as well. Both have absolute butter fingers.

  11. Also Pop doing that is weird. Its literally a sport and an opposing team. You’re suppose to boo the players shooting lol.

  12. I don’t know if anyone recall but this is how we started off last year too. Hell even some mid season and late season games was slug fest with tons of careless mistakes, then playoff came around and everyone just locked tf in.

Losing sucks but it’s November. We chilling.

  13. I made $10 betting Jokic under on 3 pointers…. I wanted to lose that $10 so badly man

  14. Whenever I start feeling sad about these November games, I look back on when I felt down losing games in November last year, and how after winning the championship, all that stress just seemed so goofy in hindsight.

Losing sucks, but it’s gonna happen while the team’s figuring out rotations and building chemistry in the early months of the regular season.

But, boy, do I miss Jamal

  15. Nuggets fan in Orlando here. Third time I’ve gone to the game in person, third time they’ve lost. I think I’m their bad luck charm — sorry y’all 😅🥲

  16. Most of our problems disappear when Mal returns. Reggie returns to the bench to run the 2nd unit. I would look at trading Zeke and a pick for someone else though (either a big or another ball handler). His time is up and has failed to develop these past 3-4 years.

  17. I know he dealt with foul trouble but MPJ gotta get more than 31 minutes in that game

I dont know what the defense is for running the rookie line early 4th. Malones regular season rotation is so stale and predictable, he had started year off with a lot of different looks.
