The NHL is going to have someone do that and get seriously injured or killed, and only then will they ban fighting.
That could have been very bad. Good on the linesman for his awareness and fast reflexes.

Not often the linesman has the save of the year
Looks like the quick thinking linesman is Tyson Baker. Major props to the guy.

Idk, slowing it down, I’m seeing his head still strike the ice first. Could be wrong, but that’s what I’m seeing.
Edit: I’m seeing his hand get under his head, but more inferior. Like the occipital region, and it looks like the head strikes the ice first in the parietal region.
