Let’s try giving him Powell’s minutes for a few games tbh.

Even if he’s at powell’s level on switching/rim protection I’m 100% confident he’s gonna grab more boards
Played really well. He needs more playing time.
Kidd finally found him on the bench for anything else than garbage time. Good timing since DLive got hurt after that.
Kidd probably saw that atrocious defensive rating with Powell and said fuck it, how much worse can Holmes be
With Holmes getting minutes finally. Our Big Man rotation instantly look way better with consistency on defense
Needs to play over Powell. At least against bigger teams
I for one am happy to see the effort Holmes played tonight. I’m now a believer that this guy needs PT. He has that drive to prove himself.
And at least, if it doesn’t work out, he can increase his trade value.
Holmes might be more streaky than Powell, but when he’s needed bro steps up. I think he should take the spot from Powell instead of DP just assuming it’s his and half assing it. If we weren’t in such a piss poor center situation Powell would have been waived or traded years ago. Now that we are moving forward we have to let the new guys get their legs. We know what DP will give us and bro seems willing and able to do it.
Him maxi and lively is a solid 3 big rotation and maxi can play the 4 when we need to go big , promising game
