  1. Not sure if this is allowed. Just thought it was neat it was actually being said somewhere other than here.

  2. TL;DR: cherry-picking the stats this season is dumb and isn’t far off from compared to other QBs around the league and in history.

  3. Wins count too

Edit: yes I think Josh should get the MVP. But to the press who decides these things wins count.
When was the last time there was a MVP from a losing team.

  4. It will only get worse with the non athlete, sky screaming, fantasy nerds that dominate social media giving their amplified opinions on things they know barely anything about.

  5. I think its just a case of Allen getting so much attention. I think when people become popular and end up in lots of commercials , etc. it draws ire for why there QB isnt featured instead. Also winning helps…

  6. A cathartic read if nothing else.

Also, he even short changed Allen on the meaningless TO context (lost fumble on the lateral play against NE).

  7. This is a great read. Thank you for sharing. The double standards are ridiculous and even if The Bills had 10 wins so far, people would still be harping on the INT’s, because so many out there don’t want to be wrong or go back on their initial takes of Josh.

  8. It’s nice confirmation bias but them saying Peyton had multiple 15 int seasons and comparing that to this season is a loaded take.

15 ints in a whole 16 game season is a lot better than 14 ints in the first half of a 17 game season.

I know and love Josh for the fact we have to take the bad with the good, but all this does is give fuel to the haters to say we’re biased.

  9. Yes!! Check out Annie angar on tik tok. She’s freaking hilarious! Her latest skit teases about how everybody hates on Josh for his interceptions but it’s okay when other QB’s do it.

  10. He’s really only got a handful of bad interceptions, most have been arm punts. Pff has him as the second ranked qb for those that care about that

  11. Josh is in that place right now where’s he’s super famous, in commercials, on Madden, but he hasn’t won a superbowl like Mahomes.

It’s like if you’re a famous superstar QB, if you win a Superbowl, you could murder multiple people and random internet idiots would go, “eh they probably deserved it”.

  12. Winning trumps all, so unfortunately our poor performance so far is why his turnovers are being talked about at a higher clip

  13. People across the country see Allen the way they see the bills. They’re not supposed to be good. Hurts is supposed to be good. Mahomes is supposed to be good.

Allen and the bills are supposed to be bad in their minds. Sure, maybe they catch lightning in a bottle but folks think that eventually it’ll all come crashing down back to earth and they can say “see I told you so”

It’ll take those “analysts” a few more years to realize how dumb they are

  14. The only reason they’ve been losing some games this year, even with a depleted defense, is cause their turnovers have been coming at the worst times in games. So they’ve lost a lot of one possession games they could’ve just as easily won. Their overall numbers on offense are good. And their defense is good enough, even with the injuries. This is still a great, not good, football team. Their point differential is higher than the eagles and chiefs. And Josh is playing pissed off now. The league better watch the fuck out

  15. The rest of the world catching up to r/buffalobills. ![img](emote|t5_2ra29|6279)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

  16. Watch Josh not throw another INT all season and wind up with his lowest total just to shit on math again
