Malachi Flynn Is Named #KiaROTM Honors For April | Eastern Conference

A little reminder to everyone who’s surprised that Malachi’s playing well. He showed great promise as a rookie, & then inexplicably NN put him on a short leash or refused to play him. Y’all actually thought that Jeff Downtin was a better hooper?! Where is he now? Malachi is still relatively young, & has the chance to develop into a solid backup PG in the League

  1. People are too quick to judge. Already seeing this with Gradey suggesting he can’t shoot. Thr PG position is the hardest in the game to learn Unless your a “savant” like Haliburton last night but even then he made a lot of mistakes.

  2. Dude had one good game and yall posting clips from 3 years ago lmao I can’t with this sub. That’s how low the bar is one bench player puts up 14 pts for the first time in 14 games and we are praising him like he’s Derrick White 🤣

  3. It will be interesting to see what the FO offers him next summer, he will be a restricted FA. Payton Pritchard got 4/$30m. Too much for Flynn?

  4. It’s sad Malachi played better as a rookie then in year 2 & 3. Thank you Darko for not giving up on him and letting Flynn play through his mistake. If he ever gets his confidence back to these levels will have a good young player to add to some much needed team depth.

  5. I hope this isn’t a bad take but I kind of like the purple chevron jersey 😬

Also, glad to see Flynn killing it. It super important to put your trust in young players, believe in their ability and let them play through some of their mistakes. I hope he keeps this up.
