On a serious note, why has the league moved away from big NTs?

The league values pressure more so than the traditional run stuffing nose tackle. I think the perfect middle ground is someone who demands a double team or pushes the pocket so that a QB can’t step up.
League went from 3-4/4-3 to basically nickel/dime. It’s more important to rush the QB, them to fill the a/b gap
