Not on this sub much so sorry if this is a repeat, but I love Jauan Jennings.

He may not get a lot of targets but it seems like every game he is good for 1 or 2 clutch 3rd down conversions. Last night, watching him fight through 3 defenders to get this first down was awesome, and also a super important play in helping us pull away early in the game.

Just want to make sure he gets some love for when he steps up behind the super stars.

  2. This was honestly such an underrated play. JJ had 0 business getting the first down on this play

  7. Jan has had a rough year. Some ugly drops. But this is just another reminder of how special he is with the ball in his hands.

    Now please focus on catching that ball first!

  10. Defenses always be sweating on 3rd down when he’s on the field. Got to cover CMC, Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk, and Jauan. RIP

  11. Crazy thing about this play was I was pissed at him on a play a few before where it looked like he didn’t try to go get the ball in the end zone (he was held) this made me erase all that anger. Hell of a play

  12. If I didn’t see this happen, and you told me this would result in a first down, I wouldn’t believe you.

  13. That was a MONSTER play that got me so hyped when he carried those goofs across the first down line.

  14. One of my Fav players in the team ever since. Such a dog and unselfish. Could be a WR2 on a lot of teams. Thankful for JJ. That was a big play no one really expected him to convert

    OP- great post and glad you’re showing love. So underrated and JJs huge for us. He’s part of the physicality with Deebo and CMC where we steam roll other teams

    So much. Scared off all the in-laws after I jumped off the couch and almost caught ceiling with my head while screaming obscenities 😂

  18. Two of their defenders whiffed because they didn’t even try to tackle, they went to strip the ball.

  22. Jauan’s incredible effort on this play led to a touchdown later in the drive. He’s a definitely a baller that I hope John Lynch could somehow re-sign.

    I don’t know what happens to Jauan next year, and if we only keep Aiyuk, I’ll feel comfortable, but damn.. I’ll hate to see #15 leave.

  25. As he was making an attempt to cross I was already cussing at the TV because I thought we were gonna be short. Absolutely incredible play.

  26. Witherspoon might turn out to be a good corner for the Hawks but he seems to miss some big tackles that would be very frustrating to watch.

  27. Cris Collinsworth was also talking about this play for like the next 2 mins.
    Like, how on earth did he even do that?
