6. Cubs will have to pay the most. They have to prepare a deal that blows the west coast offers out of the water.

   It’s going to be money + years + potential opt out somewhere. I would imagine they put an player option between the 4th and 5th season.

   I would give up 650mil for 12 years. Player opt out after year 4 and year 7.

11. Don’t know who the source is but anyone who’s been paying attention, this is obvious. They’re not “SERIOUSLY INVOLVED” in Ohtani without being over $500 million.
