  1. 13mph is slow, yikes.

Thought there was some impact from the cleats worn due to the field conditions at Lambeau? Seen plenty of that mostly on the fantasy football sub.

  2. Excellent receiving back, average running back. He should have tried to negotiate a sensible mid term deal out of the chargers this offseason. Instead he’s going to hit FA and be in relatively low demand. Suspect he’s probably going for 2 years combined 9M maximum

  3. I knew he looked slow as fuck during the last game. I hope we draft a RB this off season and move on from EK

  4. It’s not a ‘curse’. Literally, the human body cannot withstand this kind of punishment at 30. Only freaks of freaks can do so.

Yet again, another reason why running backs aren’t paid later in careers/aren’t paid enough in their early years.

  5. He really lost a step this year. He’s also had a bunch of uncharacteristic drops. He’s a decent 3rd down receiving back if that now. We could really use a legit back next year. Draft one in the 2nd I say if a stud falls out of the 1st. Maybe the 3rd since we will have a million holes to fill next year.

  6. It’s incredible how every time a RB demands a new contract they go out and have their worst season. It’s like clockwork.

  7. Where is the crowd that thought this man deserved top end RB money?

He has always been a product of the system and our injuries. He has never been an effective runner.

  8. Ekeler broke my heart when he fumbled against the Jaguars. Don’t rememeber which season but I definitely had an aneurysm.

  9. No way it’s 13 mph. I honestly could run quicker than that and I’m a 32 year old average person that’s had a few too many beers in recent years haha.

Saying that I think everyone in the game thread was like “WTF” on that run, it was insanely slow so maybe it’s right. If so he shouldn’t be playing, that’s nowhere near NFL level pace.

He must be playing injured, he broke off a 70+ yard run against the Rams late last year and looked pretty quick. You don’t go from 19-20 mph to 13 mph without carrying a severe injury.

  10. The damage to the RB market that Ekeler will cause can’t be overstated.

You can’t pound the table for RB’s being worth more, then come out and play like this. This was the year to prove, definitively, that his position is truly worth more. What has he proved? That he doesn’t care? That he’s going through the motions?
