Bring the man home
He has a great assist/turnover ratio, is a pesky defender, has great basketball IQ. The big problem is his limited athleticism, for all his effort and IQ he can get blown out in defense by faster and stronger players. But to be the backup point guard for like 10-15 mins a game when Maxey needs to take a break he is good enough. Also, Joel loves him and they have good chemistry. I have no idea how a trade with Indiana would be possible though. Like what salaries would match and that kind of stuff.
Why would the pacers trade him?

Loved TJ and his time while he was with us in the past…..but I’m good. Don’t need a pipsqueak who can’t shoot. Need taller, defensive minded who can score when needed
He would be a pretty good fit as a back up point guard. The only issue with him is that he is not a threat from outside at all but would give Maxey a break and is better than Beverly.

Malcolm brogdan would be better
