  1. The worst part for me isn't even the deadpan reaction to the Avs getting scored on. It's when the other team scores on the Avs, and they compare the scorer to an Avalanche player (i.e. typically MacKinnon, Rantanen, or Makar). They can't give the other team the full due credit when they score, and will utilize any chance they get to talk up their own players by form of comparison, as a way of saying that their players are the pinnacle of hockey, and that they can do no wrong. It's narcissistic, and it gives new and impressionable fans the wrong idea.
