Saints injuries

Michael Thomas already out next week, Olave left with concussion today, looks like Jamal Williams was injured at end of game. Who’s ready for an asterisk win next week?**

  1. Packers had more guys out, didn’t stop them from looking like a superbowl contender…

Stop the turnovers and should be a winnable game.

  2. If you look at all the players that were out for Green Bay when we played them on Thanksgiving, no win on our part can be presumed. Just because New Orleans is without some players does not insure anything, and I wonder if that played into our team’s lackluster performance on Thursday. I will certainly take our healthy roster over New Orleans next Sunday, but will never see that as a huge advantage ever again.

  3. Carr going to hang his nuts on our defense if we get zero pressure. If we get pressure up front, should be pretty stress-free game tbh

  4. This Saints team is not looking good on either side. If we can’t get this one, the heat check is real. Good thing I have full faith in this team turning around as they haven’t lost two in a row in over a year.

  5. I’m not worried about who’s playing on the other team, honestly. I want the offense to start clicking again, and for the defense to get pressures. We’re not being beat by the other team, we’re beating ourselves.

  6. Packers backups whooped us. I assume any time a backup gets an opportunity, they will go out with 110%. As far as ability, they’re still good enough to be in the NFL in some capacity.

  7. ATL ran all over them today and we have better RBs. The game plan seems pretty simple and hopefully the run game can allow Goff to settle into some confidence again. Carr has not looked good all season really but I cant say I am confident in the secondary.

  8. I thought we would roll the Packers too. And we should of.

But Detroit still needs to play pretty clean football to win games against good teams (Packers and Broncos will both finish with winning records imo). Until the defense can get more turnovers and pressure the QB, the offense needs to be better than the D.

We also have to accept that this defense is likely top 20 at best.

With that said. Saints rush defense is terrible. The lions should just run the ball first and foremost the next 3 week’s and control the game. Terrible run defenses ahead.

  9. lol who gives a shit packers had like 14 injured players against our full strength. Where’s the news about the coaches getting better and AG teaching the d line to get pressure again?

  10. Only way an asterisk is going to be applied is if we lose. Then the Lions* will be made out to be the frauds everyone hours they were
