play calling and defense was inexcusable but absolutely the worst officiating i’ve ever seen in professional sports

This was up there with Scott Foster 2018 game 7 WCF
Damn that’s a great shot. TV broadcast never had a look this good unfortunately.
They just scripted Tank out of the game after the 1st half. Stalled a lot of drives without him.
That’s one of the best catches I’ve ever seen.
Such a tough way to lose the division. There has to be some accountability for how bad this game was officiated
Yeah, refs were absolute trash this game. Our defense was great though. They got screwed by phantom calls after a lot of 3rd down stops. Our secondary can’t allow those big bombs so often though.
Inconclusive. Can’t see if the ball is fully in his hands.
I still find it funny that the ref right there called it a catch and then a ref 20 yards back sprinted over and waved it off
It felt like every time the jags threw an incomplete on third down it was magically a defensive holding or PI
Refs fucked you guys hard
I was defending the refs for this since it was so close. But ugh NY, how the fuck you miss this on replay?
Don’t worry according to jags fans the refs were bad for “both sides”.
Hella of a catch
Refs, announcers, and camera crew ganged up to beat the Texas
SMFH. Worst officiating ever by the Clay Martin officiating crew.
Messed up game by refs nfl all around dang near blatant
That ball is not secured. This is an incomplete pass, according to this photo, anyway.
The hands and ball are too blurry to see if he has control yet. It certainly was very close.
I agree the refs were horrendous but we lost it on 3 separate calls. 1. Going for a 58 yard fg or whatever in the 1st half with 25 seconds left instead of trying for the first down (turned it over on downs anyways) 2. going for a 40 yard lob on 4th down when we needed .5 yards 3. Going again for the insanely long fg attempt that would’ve been close to a career high again on the final Texans offensive staff
Edit: I learned after commenting that we went for both those fg’s with a backup kicker, yeah refs were bad but play calling 100% lost us the game
Just the worst officiated game I’ve seen. Affected both sides, moreso the Texans. Just terrible.
Jags fan here I was at the game and told myself in my head that was a catch but then again the videos on the screen kinda didn’t show good angles of it
