  1. i have been really really hesitant to get my hopes up this season, but these last few games are making me unable to keep from wondering if we are… actually good?

  2. Cons: Our third period continues to be rough, our defense feels too frantic still, I’m missing Novak a lot

Pros: in the last week we beat 3 teams that are ahead of us in our division, Tomasino was fantastic, JUUSE IS BACK

  3. The first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes of that game were awful. Luckily, they held out, but they cannot do that again against the Pens on Tuesday night.

  4. We beat Colorado. (1st)

    We beat St. Louis. (4th)

    We beat Winnipeg. (3rd)

Shit man, I think we might compete for the Central

  5. Edit: Woke up today and chose violence. Come @ me.

Aww man perfect. I was really missing being a completely middling team and our annual first round exit.

Preds are literally back at 10-10-0 with a .500 points percentage. And also out of a lottery pick for the first time this year as we currently sit in the 17th overall pick. It’s quite literally the definition of mediocrity.

This team is eerily similar to Hynes 2021 season. Bottom of the league for a brief moment, came back in a big way on the backs of career years for Josi, Forsberg, Duchene and Saros. Plus we had some pretty solid rookie performances from Jeannot, Carrier, Tomasino and Tolvanen. Then…blanked by Colorado in the first.

    More bummer stats:

No one under 25 got over 15 minutes of ice time today.
No one under 25 has more than 3 goals this season.
Preds sit in the 17th overall pick. Hynes’ 2021 season…17th overall pick.

Like, I totally get it. This team is fun to watch. But I can’t do another season of watching this team barely scrape into the playoffs only to get worked by a much better team and then up drafting a mid-round first who we hope to god fleshes out into a top line player (so far to date this has NEVER happened for the Preds). It’s so frustrating watching us punch above our weight throughout the season so we could draft Tomasino in 2020 only to watch Bedard have as many goals in his pure rookie season as Tomasino, Evangelista and Parssinen combined have this season.

  6. Went from a top 3 draft pick to one place out of the wild card with two games in hand in the course of a week.

  7. We are undefeated this year in games I’ve gone to!

For those of you not present, a service dog won the hunts Brothers fan of the game
