Former Ducks head coach Dallas Eakins is joining Adler Mannheim as coach and general manager.

Good for him. For whatever I could say about him as a coach he seems like a good guy. It would have been a shame for the sport to lose him entirely. Hopefully this fits him well. And who knows, maybe management is his forte and this is the beginning of the making of the man

Happy for Ol Dally, clearly not cut out to be an NHL coach but he’s had some success in the lower tier leagues.
I could say something very snarky, but by all accounts Eakins is a good man. I want everyone to be successful.
