I was at that game. Even though the game ended and the Sox were knocked out of the playoffs by Cleveland, the fans stayed for quite a bit of time to give Papi the send off. It felt like something out of a movie.
I bought a jar of dirt from the Fenway merch store from this game lmao
It is truly incredible the impact that 1 man had on the organization, and the city.
