Good for him. He’s finally made it to free agency and chose a destination he says he’s wanted to be in. Sucks he isn’t here, but no hard feelings.
60% of the their starting staff are ex-Twins. Cool.
And that’s great, because our front office made it clear we didn’t want him to be a Twin (at market vaue).
The rare true win-win. We get our comp pick and Sonny gets paid in a place he wants to be.

Have you ever heard of a player signing a free agent deal and saying he didn’t want to be there? If Oakland or whatever bad team you want to insert offered him that deal he would be saying the same.
To be fair, they do have the second-best looking sky blue uniforms.
