Do we even have room in the bullpen?
On my short list of free agent targets. One of the best sliders in baseball and learned to throw a cutter last season that was also one of the best.
He’s fantastic but we already have the best bullpen in the sport. He’s gonna get a nice pay day. Would rather the Dodgers go with the cheap Shelby Miller types
Spending money on free agent bull pen arms is not what Friedman does. Ever. This is a non story for us.
Would he be good to get? Yes.
Does Friedman also have a hesitancy on paying relievers the big bucks? Also yes.
I’d say we should be more in on him if he was a lefty, but we have other areas of concern right now, I’m not gonna be surprised if we don’t get him but I would be content with him if we did.
He leaving Tampa? Must have wanted to actually get paid.
My last name is Stephenson. If he gets signed the jersey is an insta-buy
Dang this guy got good with the Rays? I remember he was the Reds #1 pitching prospect for a cool minute and then he fell off the planet like all Reds pitchers do
