  1. Sure why not, small enough sample size still this year. Just keep winning and keep proving folks wrong to move up.

  2. Power rankings are opinions, record-based rankings are fact. No one should care what other people think of this team.

  3. The Lakers higher than the Wolves????

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *breath* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  4. The ringer is typically so solid but I feel like this ranking is pretty off, even outside of the wolves

  5. I almost downvoted. We have the best record in the western conference and beat the team with the best record in the league. We are better than 7th.

  6. It’s not just that KOC put the Lakers at 4, it’s that he started them at 5, saw them put together a negative point differential through the first 18 games, and decided that was good enough to move them up a spot.

  7. Feels like a changing of the guard happening. I am more worried about De’Aaron Fox than LeBron or Steph… they still great though.

  8. Why’s everyone hating? These rankings are about contention, not best/hottest teams in November. If you really think the wolves should be closer to the top 2 teams, then bet on it! You’re literally higher on us than Vegas and can be compensated for it!

  9. It is always interesting to see how low the Wolves are ranked in these lists. People really seem to think that a team that went to the playoffs with a bunch of injuries last year, somehow isn’t a legit playoff team this year. What else are the Wolves supposed to do before people acknowledge them?

The inseason tournament situation is a bit disappointing, but that’s no reason to rank the Timberwolves that low.
