2. This has been the major missing piece with Baker this year. He has been much improved with his intermediate passes but his accuracy deep has been bad.

   He’s missed multiple players so many times for massive TDs/plays with Palmer being at the top of the list. That said, he has still been an above average QB this year.

3. No one is arguing Mayfield is hitting the deep ball.

   What’s interesting is that Mayfield has traditionally been good on the deep ball (top 5 some seasons).

   What’s also relevant is the questionable route running of TB’s WR on deep balls which is not helping. See Evans on the first drive vs. Colts. He turns, ball is perfectly thrown sideline.
