  6. will be curious to see what the team does with him, he’s obviously not usurping goff anytime soon, but will they work him in on certain packages maybe next year? How do you evaluate him as a QB if it’s even possible he’s an option for the future?

  7. If he can be a competent backup next year, he’ll be on the books for 3 more years at right around 1 million each year. Total bargain with plenty of upside

  9. The most exciting thing about Hendon Hooker for this season is that Hooker can emulate as a mobile quarterback to help our defense prepare.

  14. I feel that, with Ben Johnsons style of offense and creativity, that Hendon Hooker will really thrive with Ben Johnson.

  17. Detroit fan in East Tennessee. I got to watch Hooker at every home game last year. He is phenomenal. Now, he also had Jalin Hyatt…I’m sure Sun God can fill those shoes. Exciting times!

  18. So how does this work? Assuming he stays healthy, could we end up seeing him play this season, most likely in the last game if it doesn’t mean anything to the standings?

  19. The QB controversy next year is going to be so hot. When was the last time we had a legit QB debate in Detroit?

  20. Which means nothing. He’s the 3rd string qb this season, no changing that unless we have injuries.
