  1. Early days but I dare say Podz is our best draft pick in YEARS. He is NBA ready-ready.

    Really is GPII twin

  2. LETS GO!!!! WE WON THE BATTLE FOR THE 10 SEED IN THE WEST!!!

But for real it’s nice to see a win. That Clippers team has been underperforming but they still have Harden, Kawhi, PG, and Westbrook.

  3. I like that Moody finished the game. I like even more that Podz got to finish too because he was one of the 5 best players and earned it. Looney was off and Podz played great, happy to see Kerr ride the hot hand

  4. Podziemski and Moody need to be prominently in the rotation no matter what. Both play extremely hard, fight for rebounds and loose balls like their life is on the line, aren’t going to get wrecked on defense, play within the system and can hit an open shot.

This team desperately needs all those things. I hope Cojo is out of the rotation when CP3 comes back. He’s been fine honestly, even great for his role. But Podz and Moody fit so much better with Steph and CP3.

I’d throw Kuminga in there too if he plays like today but he’s already fooled me before. His effort is extremely inconsistent. He was great in the last third of regular season last year so I hope he can find his rythm.

Still, I hate how he’ll jump on a non shooter pump fake atleast twice a game. Having patience with him is great but it’s his third year already. If he could shoot slightly better and atleast play like Podz, MoMo, Gp2 play, full effort, he’s exactly the kind of player this team needs with his athleticism, defense and rim pressure. Just not sure it will ever happen.

  5. Quality basketball against a quality team while being very undermanned. Good game!

  6. This might be the best game I’ve ever seen Kuminga play. Don’t get me wrong, he’s had more noisy games with huge highlights and better stats. Today, he did everything the team needs him to do and it was beautiful.

Play good, disciplined defense. In a defensive stance instead of upright. Usually he’s way too overagressive and gets blown by with ease. There was none of that today. His rotations off ball were on point all night. He even had a nice block on Westbrook helping at the rim, a rare sight from him. He was really fighting for rebounds today aswell.

Offensively, he was slightly more under control. But the important part came in the 4th. There’s no reason for him to not be getting 4-6 points off of lobs from Dray cutting from the corner when Steph gets trapped and there’s a 4v3. Only reason he doesn’t is because he’d rather stay in the corner and shoot an open 3 he usually misses (not today I know).

Suddenly, he went and cut STRONG twice in the same play. First one Zubac read it well because at the end of the day it’s Draymond with the ball and everybody knows he wants to pass. On the second one, Dray threw it and Kawhi fouled him (should’ve been 2 free throws).

I swear I get so frustrated with Kuminga. If he just stopped with that wild, silly kind of defense that only work if you’re elite at recovering from behind or if the team has an elite rim protector (he isn’t and the dubs doesn’t). And embraced playing with full effort all the time. Cut, be the first on the break, fight for rebounds, don’t settle for jumpers early in the possesion.. He’d be a key piece getting over 20 minutes every night.

I’m not too optimistic since he’s already shown flashes of doing all of the above and the game still seem to be moving too fast for him(and it’s his third year already). But a man can dream I guess.

  7. I’m glad Moody got close to breaking 30 min of play time. Podz with 31 min is even more shocking. Is Kerr finally learning?

  8. Steve, I say again, the kids are alright.

    Play Moody.

    Play JK.

    Play Podz.

    Good things will happen.

  9. Steph and Dray losing it while Klay goes off on a tangent about Bob and Kelenna being together for 5 years instead of answering Bob’s question is absolute gold lol
