Ronny Mauricio went 4-4 with a pair of XBHs in his Dominican Winter League game tonight

He also had 3 errors at third base during this game
He’s significantly more advanced offensively than most the people there and is going up against high school pitchers and washed up old guys.
What I want is for him to get as much time as he can at 3B and in the OF because he is a long way from being defensively ready in this positions.
We already know he’s good at 2B and fine at SS. But those aren’t positions we need filled of Baty continues to struggle.
I don’t necessarily think Mauricio is the best next option up at the moment – his offensive game still has a lot of holes that can easily be exploited at the major league level – but you can never have too much depth!
