  1. In this Lou says expect 1 of Yamamoto, snell or Montgomery. Don’t expect 2 of them That’s unrealistic could see this being similar to 2016 when they brought price in, then bring in another next offseason if needed like they did sale in 2017. Wouldn’t be surprised with Paxton back on a short 1 or 2 year deal

  2. They added 70M in free agents to the payroll last year and we’re still projected to be 50M under the tax threshold. In what world is it unrealistic to sign two starters?

    Are we really going to commit less than we did last year after signaling that we were ready to compete? I get there are other needs but there’s not a great free agent market for position players right now.

  3. I’m not persuaded about Paxton, but yeah Lou is being real here.

    That said, I am braced for them not landing any of them.
