  1. Is this part of the supposed bias the nfl has for the eagles? This is an outrageous over reach of power. Objectively the play breaks no rules, does not lead to injury. There is no reason to do this other than 1 team being better than others. Embarrassing shill of a league

  2. So, they’re gonna ban QB Sneaks altogether then? Cos we’ll still be damn good at it even without the pushers.

  3. The worst commissioner in all of sports , he’ll be butthurt when he finds out jalen is still excellent at the regular sneak

  4. The only way to ban it is if you ban any player pushing a player with the ball. You cannot ban a specific play.

  5. Of course he does. In the words of the great MF DOOM, “Cant understand it, ban it.”

  6. As a niners fan who hates y’all, completely disagree with this. It’s a great play, creative, you can run some trick plays out of it. I don’t see why they want it banned, you can’t remove a play simply because it’s effective. If injuries are the concern it seems like very few players get hurt on this play, might as well ban QB sneaks and any heavy sets at that point.

  7. The play is absolutely going to be banned after this season. I think that’s been obvious for awhile. Everyone else hates it because no one else can manage to do it. Oh well. Might as well get that ring now, then.

  8. This is actual blasphemy, like cmon everyone else is mad because their O-line is shitty and their QB can’t squat 600 so instead of improving they just decide to throw stones.

What a bunch of fucking sore losers, man… I hope when Philly makes the big game we just spam tf out of the tush push just to troll the league

  9. It’s annoying but guys we honestly are still going to convert a ton.

Especially if the other team isn’t allowed to lineup offsides every time.

  10. They’re going to have to find a hilarious way to remove it without further hurting RBs and QBs of the future that use their legs.

People that hate the tush push really don’t understand how often their RB or otherwise only gets a yard but is eventually pushed for even more yards (called spot). Making a rule that only effects QBs would be tough too because standard QB sneaks have a lot of pushing and shoving anyway.

Goodell is probably salivating at removing the run game even further for higher scoring games tho. And now that NFL Golden Boy Tom Brady is out of the league (who’s had plenty of OL help in QB sneaks himself) it’s time to strike. Better yet, new Golden Boy Mahomes can’t even QB sneak at all.

  11. ok. do you just ban all qb sneaks in the name of qb safety then? or is just the fact our players can get lower than any defensive line in the league? like what exactly are they ‘banning’? getting lower? or pushing? because half the time jalen don’t even need that push. but also, go ahead and ban pushing players forward. i’ve seen a shit load of plays this year where teammates pushed each other forward, particularly in the end zone.

it’d be dumb. but most nfl rules are pretty fucking dumb. just make it even across the board.

  12. Surely the only way to ban it is to ban any pushing of the ball carrier on any play? A QB sneak without the push is just a rushing play that gets 1 yard, it seems impossible to ban that, or else any QB draw or designed run is banned too, no?

I don’t know why the NFL would even have interest in banning a play that keeps an offense on the field. Nobody wants to see a punter on the field except fans of the opposing team.

  13. Normally, I’d say boo this man, but he’s gotten used to that. Anyone have any other way to get through to him?

  14. Crazy to me that the “competition committee” doesn’t feature a representative from every franchise. Seems like bias would kick in, especially for decisions like these. I mean, why would the Washington, Dallas, and New York reps vote to keep it?

Also, outlawing a play that only one team has the personnel to consistently run successfully isn’t a very “competitive” thing to do. It’s just soft. It’s tattling on your older brother because he keeps blocking your shot in basketball from being taller than you.

On the bright side, it’s likely Kelce’s final year. Even we might struggle with it once he isn’t the anchor anymore.
