Big Mitch just posted this to his X feed on why he didnt share the story of him letting his high school coach stay with him after the coach lost his wife. Mitch just being his humble self.

  17. What a sad reality where people are asked about why they weren’t *posting* about helping someone out. Must it be known by thousands and millions for him to be happy about it? Love the answer Robinson gave.

    It would actually seem not genuine if he were to be bragging/posting about it to the public

  20. As tempting as it would be, I’d never want what comes along with celebrity. Nothing is private. Bob Dylan talks about people coming up to him in the street trying to touch his hands, because they believed there was some magical quality. In the Imagine documentary, a man shows up at John Lennon’s house, because he thinks he knows the answer to life. This is obviously not to that level, but it would be nice if this part of his life was just allowed to be private. If he wanted it to be public knowledge, he would have made it so. Nevertheless, kudos to MRob for being a good human

  21. Mitch is my favorite Knick, and the longest tenured right now. The video of him learning how many offensive boards he got against the Cavs last year is fantastic.

  26. Sad how some people have to think that you can only do good things if it’s for social media clout smh. Mitch just wanted to do help out someone he cared about and it should have just been left out. It’s nice a thing like this got known because it could potentially help others but trying to make it a publicity thing is terrible.

  27. Watching Mitch grow and mature over the last 5 years or so has been a pleasure as a Knicks fan
