  1. “The second night of the back-to-back proved to be more troublesome than the first for the Denver Nuggets.

Here are three takeaways from Denver’s 123-117 loss in Sacramento.

    1. It can be a make or miss league, and that was the case throughout the first half. Denver got outscored 27-0 from the 3-point line in the first half. The Nuggets missed all nine of their attempts, while the Kings shot the 3 ball at a 52.9% (9-17) clip. Reggie Jackson and Michael Porter Jr. missed both of their first-half attempts, while Kevin Huerter (3-5) and Malik Monk (2-5) combined to go 5 for 10 for the Kings. It’s not like the Nuggets were taking bad shots, but the disparity was a big part of Denver’s double-digit halftime deficit. The Kings finished 16 for 34 (47.1%) from 3, while Denver went 6 for 26 (24%).”
