[Jays Journal] According to insider Mike Rodriguez, the #BlueJays are “very interested” in a highly controversial ex-Yankees pitcher.

Umm absolutely not… This has to be just for clicks right?

  1. We didn’t let Osuna pitch for us after his DA incident, why would they go and sign him?

  2. I don’t believe this one at all. The Jays front office very specifically avoids players like this.

  3. There is no possible way we are interested in German.

    1. He’s not good at throwing baseballs

    2. He had a domestic incident, this same FO traded Osuna who was far far more talented when his domestic incident was discovered, why would we let a worse pitcher play with a history of domestic?

  4. It would kill me not to watch Blue Jays, but this would make me boycott for sure, at least until public outcry caused them to cut him. But I can’t see them doing this, has to be just for clicks.

  5. Iirc Shapiro literally has a list of organization rules in his office, and one of them is literally “no dickheads.”

After the Anthony Bass bullshit, there’s no way the Jays go for an abuser.

  6. Tomorrow’s article: Insider Guy Fullofsheeto reports Jays are “very interested” in animating the remains of Ty Cobb and having him beat the shit out the team until they learn to be men and win.

  7. I don’t buy it. If we’re going to target a known piece of human garbage, Julio Urias is a free agent and at least he’s excellent at baseball

And to be clear, no I’m not endorsing targeting Urias.

  8. Just not true, couldn’t be further from the history of this front office. No click for you

  9. He is a cheater, domestic abuser and he isn’t even that good. Why would we want that?

  10. The Jays aren’t trading for Domingo German, we would literally be helping them out and on top of that including Manoah we have 5 starters.

    This is peak hack journalism.

  11. Someone is trying to salt Ohtani from coming here. No fking way the Jay’s risk this on such a low calibre player.
