1. I’m starting to think the Padres just really don’t want to deal with the Yankees. Especially since the rumours are saying they aren’t demanding Ricky and instead going with a Manoah centric package, while they were demanding King and a few of their other top prospects from the Yankees

   This isn’t even including the other two unnamed prospects from that earlier post. Say what you want about Baseball Trade Values, but it’s clear that the Padres don’t seem to want what the Yankees are offering.

   I’m guessing they want major-league-ready players. Something like Bichette and Manoah, but they’d need to be giving up Soto+Kim+Grisham. There’s also a chance there’s something like Springer for Bogaerts in there.
