Everyone can see Herbert’s potential. If Harbaugh was our next coach, I wouldn’t be upset.

I don’t think cheap Spanos will spend for Harbaugh. I hope that I am wrong, but then again, he decided to move up to LA and pay rent them to spend his own money and build a brand new stadium in SD so…
Chargers go 4-1 ROS and keep Staley and Telesco.

Harbaugh would be the best possible head coach.
Bill Belly would likely demand GM too and has drafted worse than Telesco.
That being said, we could have gotten Sean Payton last year, but Spanos was too cheap. I don’t think this family has gotten any more generous or shown a real desire to win in the past few months.
Would be ecstatic if this were to happen. He’s the exact type of coach this franchise needs currently.
Unfortunately, I highly doubt the Spanos family will do it. It’s completely against everything they’ve always done and not to mention it’ll require a high amount of $$$. I hope I’m wrong!
Come on guys we all know we’ll stack up some wins now and lose out on the playoffs by a point, extend everyone’s contracts and run it back again

I don’t follow much college football, outside of Alabama/LSU rivalry.
Michigan? Their undefeated record and Harbaugh’s coaching? Yes please. Sign Harbaugh to the Chargers if the opportunity opens up.

It would take Spanos actually spending big money on a coach. Which he hasn’t done, so I’m not optimistic. Chicago would throw money at Harbaugh. With that said, it’s the most obvious slam dunk move to get this program right and finally let Herbert loose.

I would be sooo happy if the Chargers got Harbaugh, but these same people said the same thing last year about Payton. He loved Herb, too, & we saw how that worked out. It’s not just the money, either; it’s the Spanos not wanting to give up even a tiny bit of control, & I can’t see Harbaugh tolerating their meddling even for Herbert.
It’s not like we will be getting him anyways the way they run our organization. They would never hire a coach that demands money or authority l, let alone money AND authority.
Herbert deserves better than Staley. That’s for sure.
