  1. I dont like jb but his answer makes perfect sense. The cavs are a very guard heavy team. Garland, Mitchell, Levert, okoro, strus, merril, jerome, cpj, and rubio ( still on the roster) are either guards or more suited to be guards. That leaves mobley, allen, wade, niang, jones, tt as your non guard players. Henny man has to do something to help jb out.

  2. Yeah, the depth wing/forward seems 1 guy short, if you don’t think Emoni is ready to play. 2 guys go down and you just don’t really have options that make sense.

  3. Like i understand JB point and that was the main reason i expected Bates to play more often than Porter Jr, since while i dont think he can play PF he surely can play SF since hes as tall as Jarrett Allen basically.
So given how most teams have bigger lineups, feels like trading 1 one the guards for a forward makes perfect sense.
TT as a backup 5 works better than expected so its clear theres space for either Emoni Bates or another forward. Because the team needs to win now and the results have been mixed theres no time to play the rookies and rest the stars.

  4. Ok but his point doesn’t explain why he hasn’t even given minutes to CPJ the last few games as DG and Donovan struggle?
