You can never have too much depth. I’d expect he has a ST invite and an opt out if he doesn’t make the roster by a certain date

Really like this as a depth move, hope it doesn’t happen but if someone gets hurt for an extended period or Wendle is just absolutely awful he’s a great guy to have in the minors to call up.
Way better then the Danny Mendicks or the Devan Marrero’s of the world.

nah, for real on a minor league deal this is solid. if any team knows about the importance of depth, it’s us.
Good to load up on depth while we wait for Ohtani to set the market. Not having major league caliber depth is how you end up giving Danny Mendick and Jonathan Arauz at-bats.
Solid depth move. People get too riled up over minor league deals, but I’d certainly rather Iglesias coming up as an injury reserve than some of the other guys we’ve had to rely on in recent years.
