  1. Will be 37 years old. Last year had a 4.07 ERA and 1.39 WHIP. Seriously, how does this get over $4M?????

  2. Guessing there is something Perry likes in him? Definitely didn’t have good numbers

  3. Same Luis Garcia we had right? I am always confused because there are other Luis Garcias out there that didn’t look like him and were better lol

  4. $4.25 million guaranteed seems like a lot for a 37-year old pitcher with a career 4.05 ERA (and really struggled last season). Seems like a kid making the league minimum could produce similar numbers.

Barry Enright will really be a magician if he can get something out of his velocity

  5. Honestly not a bad deal. Let’s be real here, you can’t get much for 4 million anymore. The Angels could use another power arm. Wasn’t great last year (but also not terrible) but was really good 2021-2022.

  6. As a Padre and Angles fan, not excited about this one… Garcia has a chance to bounce back after a terrible performance last season but $4.25M is not worth the risk
