I know most of the time people were joking, but comparing Vando’s return to the stupid “just wait for Ariza” meme was pretty annoying.
Seriously. We’re an entirely different defensive team when he’s available.
For real I almost forgot how much of an on ball menace he is. He gets into the body of his matchup and annoys them

He subs into the game and I genuinely get so happy seeing him apply the clamps. We owe so much of our defensive intensity to his abilities, and as someone who was a 3 & D in high-school, I understand that there are a lot of defensive things that go unnoticed in the stats that lead to more scores & winning. LETS GO VANDO!

Vando has been an absolute DAWG tonight with the rebounds and clamping each and everyone one of the Suns players.
And to think some clowns here said to package him for Lavine lmao 🤡
Vando makes AD’s job easier on defense. He has more energy for offense.
Changes the team. All of a sudden they are not getting out rebounded and out hustled
Vando and Reddish are elite. I’m starting to think my high school coach was right when he said that defense wins games.
His offensive rebounds were such a breath of fresh air. I wasn’t sure this team even realized it was legal to rebound off a miss until tonight.
I also think he should have taken Princes spot in the closing minutes.
At one point He got like 2 consecutive offensive rebounds for a DLO 3.
Without Vando lakers would’ve been scrambling on defense and an easy layup for the suns…
I LOVE VANDO
So freaking nice to see Vando, Reddish, and yes, even Prince working their asses off on defense. They made things tough as hell on KD and Booker today. KD was a flamethrower today, but they still made it tough for him.
I would cream if him and reddish developed into near 40% 3pt specialists I think that would be unfair asf
