The Mets are teaming up with New York Cares for their 17th Annual Coat Drive presented by 1PointFive on Wednesday, December 6 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Mets Team Store at Citi Field. Free parking will be available in Lot A.
Fans bringing a new or gently used winter coat will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a select Mets home game in 2024. Please note that non-winter coats like windbreakers, jean jackets, raincoats or other light jackets will not be accepted. Fans will be limited to one (1) ticket voucher.
Make sure to stop by to visit the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan in Lot A from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Take your picture with Santa, receive a complimentary can of Coke Zero Sugar, and more!

The draft results were unfortunate. But I think that the Mets under Cohen have drafted pretty well, including getting a mid-first-round talent in Colin Houck last year. Always interesting to see how teams approach the draft. They’re high enough that they can float down a top prospect by promising an overslot bonus. Or maybe they go slot in the first round and overslot later on.
Feel like verdugo could’ve fit our OF need pretty well and the yanks got him for cheap.
I’m not gonna lie and say I’m not getting impatient, even though the big names are still on the board. Cohen and Stearns are quiet as a mouse, while Cashman the weasel is giving quotes to anyone who will take one. My feed keeps giving me Yankee coverage, and it’s annoying.
Ohtani is like a big dull wet blanket over this whole offseason so far. He belongs in Anaheim.
