maybe some actual organizational changes on the horizon??
i certainly hope so
Haha.. Yes!
This is a start.
17 years is fucking crazy
He was a great guy, pleasant everytime we met. Now there’s no African American COOs or majority owners in the league?
This has very little impact on the basketball team and a lot of impact on the community. Fred is an awesome dude, and despite me being basically a nobody, a college student at the time, and amateur journalist – he remembered my name and went out of his way to be welcoming and kind. I hope whoever takes his place is comparably gracious.
I don’t know much about him but the comments make me think he is a good guy so hate to see him go however this is a good sign that maybe front office changes that are needed for this team are coming
Lessgooo it’s a start. more staff needs to leave
NOOOOOOO
Truly, one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. He came to a restaurant I managed for a while, and would always tip his servers obscenely well, and treated everyone with respect. He’s a class act, and an absolute gentleman.
Well… if you needed to know that people don’t understand the difference between the off-court business and the on-court business of an NBA team then some of the replies in this thread show you.
Thanks for the service Fred!
