It is time for the Leafs to end the Ryan Reaves experiment

YES. He didn’t even do shit the last time we played Boston. Everyone was finally expecting him to rock shit ass MARCHAND, and he didn’t 🙁
It almost feels like the guy is tanking himself on purpose.
He talks like a tough guy, then gets out there and plays like a ballerina.
He genuinely plays like a guy trying to move up to the fourth or third line…memo to Reaves…it aint gonna happen.
I guess it’s worth getting a better look at a few of the younger guys now that we aren’t up against the cap. I’m not sure Steeves, Abruzzesi, Holmberg, etc will move the needle but I don’t think it hurts to try.
Counterpoint: it was never time to start the Ryan Reaves experiment.
It should have never been started in the first place. That was the first data point of the new GM’s reprehensible talent evaluation.
If only there was some way to know he was bad *before* giving him lots of money!
Good for Ryan for getting that contract and securing himself some financial security but now its times to #packyourshit and never see the ice again in a leafs uniform.
Hathaway would’ve been the dream. Maybe target him and Sanheim.
