My pick is Houston 12/11!

  1. Chicago, or Houston, it seems feasible.
UTAH and Portland also. Charlotte as well.
We’re a bottom 4 team currently, regardless of line-up or tank, but I think our win/loss ratio does not perfectly reflect where the team is at.

I also think the end of the year will look better (far from perfect, but better in many aspects).

They’re improving in many ways, slowly and slightly, but they’re improving. No progression is linear, and it takes time.
The defense against the Wolves, the best team in the west, was significantly better.

But it does not come all at once:
One game, they improve the defense, but the shooting isn’t there, or they improve the turnovers, but they lose their focus for 5 minutes.

They’ll put it all together eventually.

The incoming schedule to me, is a bit easier than the one we had in November.
We haven’t faced any of the worst teams so far (apart from the Grizzlies).

There, we get a few bottom teams that we could beat.

  2. If we don’t get a win against the Bulls or Rockets in the next two games, we might be waiting until after Christmas.

  3. I’ve got us winning against Chicago x2, Portland x2, Utah, and Houston. Nice little 6-5 stretch to break up this depressing losing streak

Edit: I’d go so far as to say we could feasibly go 12-10 through January 20th:

    CHI, @HOU, @CHI, UTA, @PORx2, @DET, CHA, CHI, @ATL, @CHA, @WSH

@MEM is possible but Ja will be back by then, @CLE is possible because they might be making some trades soon and they’re also floundering a bit right now, @ATL is possible but only if they’re one game over .500 (lol)

  4. There’s no point in winning anymore now it’s all about draft position.
The spurs season is over. Pop and Brian Wright choke the life out of this young team.

  5. What are the odds the spurs go on a 20 game win streak? Let me live in fantasy land

  6. Its going to be the battle of who’s going to stop their losing streak.

The 2005 NBA Finals rematch: Spurs vs Pistons, Spurs win by 3.

  7. Hopefully we can win the two Chicago games. I feel like the team is so beaten down honestly feel bad for them.

I will say we should give them some credit for finishing games. We are losing but we are losing close rather than the 20-40 point blowouts we saw in the first couple weeks. Just trying to find silver linings here.

  8. If we don’t win tomorrow, we could possibly end up flirting with the NBA record, which is 28 by Philly.

  9. Idk if y’all realize but Houston is a playoff team lol. They aren’t tanking like last year we probably won’t beat them. Especially at home where they’re 9-1
