Great move all around King Vasquez and Brito are Major League ready and Higgy is a solid backup with a no hitter and a perfect game under his belt as well the Yankees have gained two lefties as well as greatly improved defense and balance in lineup
Fair analysis for the padres.
As a Padres fan, I like Juan Soto, but I think it is a good trade. Yankee fans, expect more walks than anything else from Soto. And, I agree, Ruben NIeba is an outstanding Padres pitching coach; after all, Blake Snell of the Padres, was the NL Cy Young winner. I would love it if Yamamoto comes to the Padres.
Love you, Juan Soto! I hope you do really well with the Yankees, and keep that gorgeous house on Coronado.
Can't wait til' the Dodgers get Ohtani and lose every playoff game.
