  1. Refreshing to see a team leader actually come out and defend the lockerroom against yet another media shit storm. Hyde has clearly had a poor season, and most likely will be his last here, but his locker room presence is what will really be missed.

  2. Defending his Michael Scott moment is very understandable. Defending his coaching decisions would be a completely different story.

  3. Ever said something you regret and then had it blow up in your face?

  4. This is something I’ve had in the back of my head since the piece broke: Assuming McDermott hasn’t lost the locker room, this is prime bulletin board material. Their leader just got publicly embarrassed, and 9/11 memes are everywhere, I’m willing to bet the players are pissed.

  5. Michah has been an incredible leader for our team. He and Poyer were a huge part of turning the team around with “the process”.

I have much respect for this dude and if he says its bullshit, I believe him.

  6. Part of Dunne’s series was that Sean didn’t hold himself accountable and would rather blame everyone else… Micah didn’t even confirm Sean holds himself accountable and reitterated that Sean will hold others accountable.

At this point it’s all nonsense that needs to be figured out (if it hasn’t already) during the off season.

  7. All the attention and discourse is about his 911 comments

When it should be focused on things like blaming the offense for 13 seconds

  8. Everybody has said a dumb thing at some point. The 9/11 comment was a dumb thing to say, and only turned up a shitstorm because anything attached to 9/11 results in very sharp pitchforks.

  9. Neither of them answered the actual question. Micah was asked about Sean being accountable and Micah said he held players accountable. Nothing in his answer suggests Sean takes any responsibility, and, likewise, the fact that some of the clutch decision-making hasn’t improved shows he’s unwilling to look inward and up his game.

Beane also didn’t really address the question about Sean taking accountability. Glad they support him, and maybe it was unintentional that they didn’t actually answer the question being asked, but it doesn’t invalidate anything from the article.

  10. Cool.

Easier to overlook any stupid shit he said in the past if the Bills were winning those close games.

If the Bills were doing better this season, I doubt anyone would care about the information in that article.

  11. I really really really don’t give a fuck about some dumb shit the coach said, and people in a cutthroat business talking shit after they went their separate ways.

    Just fucking win. That’s it.

  12. If someone gathered up your exes and former friends to trash on you, you wouldn’t want to have it broadcast what they think of you.
