[Dugar] Pete says Geno “tweaked his groin a little bit yesterday. Just kind of stumbled over somebody.” Pete was asked if this is a situation where they’ll need to see Geno workout pregame. “Yeah,” Pete says, “we’re gonna wait and see.”

He didn’t practice today, which sucks
Imo give lock all the reps until game day, if Geno can’t go lock will need all the reps he can get
Pete Carroll makes it sound possible Drew Lock makes his 1st #Seahawks start Sunday at 49ers. Geno Smith hurt groin in practice Thurs Seattle signs QB Sean Mannion to PSqd On Lock “He’s been waiting for this opportunity. If this comes to pass he is as ready as he’s going to get”
We’re super fucked if drew starts this game
Fuck it. Let Lock sling that thing
This is totally fine. Don’t teams normally just get completely rocked by teams that are starting back up quarterbacks? Wait… is that just us?
Line is all the way up to Seahawks +13. He’s definitely not playing.
Miscommunication. Again
He’s going to play.
We need him to in order to keep it within 25 points
They don’t think Geno will be effective on Sunday. Saying he’s injured is a great way to not blame Geno when they lose.
Honest question – just *how bad* is Lock?
He was shit in Denver, which I could chock up to coaching and bad rookie habits. He actually looked pretty good in preseason, if a little inconsistent. He looked pretty good on that one sustained drive for the TD… I feel like he’s got an arm, but I’ve never really seen him get a chance to get into a rhythm and manage a game. The general sense that there’s little clear communication, organization or teamwork on the offense isn’t going to do him any favors… his bad throws fall into the same category of trying to force the play that Geno sometimes does.
So, really, what’s the deal? Is he *really* a worse choice than a Geno with both elbow and groin injuries? Is this dude seriously just hot garbage on his way to being a dumpster fire? Or, maybe Pete and Geno have rekindled the diva and enabler dynamic from Wilson’s last couple seasons? Or he just needs a chance, and might be the next big thing?
I just can’t decide if he’s a career back-up that no one wants to ever have to see, or has real potential if given a chance.
YIKES
If drew lock starts and wins this game I will buy a drew lock jersey and wear it every game the rest of the season.

Sounds like a nice way of describing a sex injury
