  2. On one hand, that’s a lot of money. Like, a lot of money. After surgery too.

    On the other hand, it’s hard to take this franchise seriously (as if you needed a reminder) knowing how little they are willing to pay (compared to other teams).

    Ohtani is getting almost as much per year as the total of our largest contract and almost 10x more than our largest contract.
