Opinion – If we don’t extend BWJ… riot…

I’m not confident in Picollo or anyone in the front office. Bobby has stated he’d like to stay in KC but it’s apparent it will cost the team significantly more based on the season he just posted.

  1. I just want to know the Royals eventually offered him a market rate extension at some point. If BWJ chooses to go to FA in a few years that’s his decision to make. But we riot if the Royals never make the offer.

  2. I think it’ll depend on the team around him when he’s due for extension, if it’s still a shit storm in 2 years around an MVP (kinda like Chicago with Robert Jr) extending him would be very difficult

  3. For those of you who didn’t get to experience the Royals from 1994-2012… get ready for the shit show

Any talent we have that will cost money will be traded. The team will be a bunch of rookies and washed up players on the cheap in the coming years.

  4. He will Damon it. Go to one of the bigs. Get paid and have a shot at a championship. Royals baseball is a cluster and will be for some time. The stadium drama
Isn’t helping. We won’t be relevant again for a decade.

  5. They’ll pay him. He’ll be the face of the team, especially after Salvy leaves. Then we’ll be a one man team with no future. Yay.

  6. I want the kid to have a chance at a championship. That won’t happen with this front office. Not like it will matter since we won’t pay him anyways or if we do it will be significantly under what he is worth.
