Hope Larkin is ok, I’m a Wings fan but don’t think there was any intent but if the NHL is trying to get away from head hits there should be multiple fines and probably a suspension to Perron. I’m glad he stood up for his captain but it would have been better if it was either of the two players who were in on the Larkin hit.

from the last angle, it looked like the first push from behind basically put Larkin into kelly’s right fist/butt-end. Could be that the butt-end hit him in the temple, or it was like a right cross to his jaw and knocked him out that way. Bad stuff.

I’m really disappointed in his teammates… who started attacking the Sens while their teammate laid lifeless on the ice… not too mention the dude went after the wrong guy. I get it’s high emotions during the game and it’s more reaction than thinking but man. Those skates skating around someone who couldn’t defend themselves looks so bad.

Then Zub, who had nothing to do with it, ends up down on the ice looking injured, so fucking dumb.
Joseph hit him in the back of the head. Falling into 27 may have been what knocked him out but Joseph’s dirty hit is still the cause of the injury. Perron got the wrong guy but was atleast standing up for the captain, why the fuck hasn’t anyone gone after Joseph yet and why only a 2 minute minor?
Damn I hope he’s okay.

He must have been extremely unlucky and was hit in the exact wrong place with just the “right” amount of force. Unless I’ve missed something of course. It’s certainly one of the more strange incidents I’ve seen in quite some time.
Really hope he’s okay though. Never looks good when you go out like that and fingers crossed that it’s not a bad one.
