The Cardinals are the only team that I have read that have shown obvious interest in him.

Don’t know much about him, but it would be cool to sing him and Lee and make the Padres Korea’s team. New market with more money coming in hopefully translates to more money spent
He’s a closer in the KBO and would add depth to the bullpen but not much else. He did not have a great season in 23 posting a 3.89 ERA with 44 GP, 35 GF and only 15 saves with a record of 3 wins and 8 losses.
He struggled in the beginning of his career with some good flashes in a 2019, 2021, and 2022, but he seems to be regressing to the mean when he posted 5.51 ERA over 93 innings from 2017-2018
It’s a depth piece and I would not give him more than $4M a year
His FIP has leveled out to around 3.08 since 2019 so with a more skilled defense behind him, his ERA should reflect that more
