  1. I enjoyed the tournament.

    Pacers showed a lot of resilience this game they had to do a lot to get buckets, but the constant hustle for second chance points and turnovers were huge.

    Lakers showed the playoff experience down the stretch slowing down the game and going to their bread and butter plays.

    Fun tournament.

  3. AD when he’s on his game is fucking incredible. Shut the door in the 4th with that 10-0 individual run.

    In unrelated news, I’m going to be hearing whistles in my nightmares.

  6. i’m proud of our team for getting to this point of the tournament, 6-0, 5 wins against playoff teams, it was a fun ride and i’m glad this team got some ESPN/TNT coverage, great for the growth of the 4th youngest team in the league.

    also i think we should still NOT trade for a 2nd star because i just want to see us develop with the young talent we have, i don’t want to rush anyone out or ruin the chemistry because this is a development year and we are ahead of schedule.

    gg laker fans!! if there was a team i wouldn’t be upset losing to it’d be the lakers, ya’ll are likeable and ya’ll have great fans, you’re gonna be dangerous in the playoffs!!

  12. Reminder! No team that has ever won the In Season Tournament has EVER won the NBA Title. Tough look for the Lakers.

  13. The most Lakers style win this season. Couldn’t hit threes, missed a lot of free throws, but relentless paint points, rebounding, and absolutely smothering defense.

  16. If my team didn’t win, I would’ve said the In-Season Tournament didn’t mean anything. Since my team won, I fully believe that it’s the biggest deal to be the first to win it.

  17. Inconsistent on offense, but the Lakers defense is absolutely stifling. Anthony Davis needs a DPOY to his name, because he’s the defensive engine powering it all.

    Team still has some decent sized question marks but the Lakers are trending in the right direction.

  19. AD’s scores 41 on 16/24 shooting yet his defense was even better than that, absolutely insane 2 way performance.

  20. Did anyone see Lebron toss AD that hat? It looked like a 10 foot toss with perfect spin…except it was a no-look pass? WTF?

  26. IST is good, greatest barrier is players and commentators caring about it. Lakers had it right: this is a chance to work on and improve a postseason mindset months before the postseason.
