So freaking awesome, watched it on TV and instantly pulled up the MLB app to hear the call
Lol couldn’t have happened to a bigger douche bag. It puts a smile on my face that this will follow him his entire career. Remember that time you squared up on Jose and he dropped you like a bad habit? Hahahahahahahah, just classic.

Forget top call of 2023, that was the greatest Hammy call of all time lol
This call was such an unexpected treat to receive as the season sort of went off the rails in terms of play-off potential
The only Hammy call better than this is the one my brain creates when Kip’s 2016 World Series bottom of the 9th foul ball is straightened out and extended a little.
I can hear Hammy call that walk-off so clearly…

“and the Guardians continue to go toe to toe with the juggernaut Braves” …..That was Hammy’s call earlier in the season when we beat the braves…. AWESOME! love that guy…and of course the Anderson call was just off the chain Awesome!!….
Maybe my favorite call of his I’ve ever heard and that’s a high bar
It’s still amazing to me that he had the presence of mind to instantly code switch into announcing a fight while still announcing the result of the hit.

If I was teeing off while Jim Nantz commentated I would shank that ball so bad lol. What an amazing experience for that random dude though lol.
