  1. I don’t see him leaving unless Robert Kraft offers a ludicrous number of picks that we’ve not seen before for a HC trade.

    I’m talking like 2 firsts, 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 fourths.

And Kraft would never do that because it would handicap the team that’s already devoid of high end talent.

  2. Which makes sense, but if they spend money in FA and draft their guys and next year is also a disaster, that is probably it for both.

  3. This was always going to be the plan I think. There was some baffling choices made in-game this year but also we all knew he was working with a broken roster and no cap. Any calls for Ran to be fired too were stupid bc we all knew about our situation. Definitely think next year should be it for him if there’s no improvement

  4. This IMO is the right call. I think these 2 need at least a year together w/ some capital to use.

  5. Awesome, someone DM me when Vrabel gets fired next year. I’d like to buy a ticket to watch whoever our interim coach is in their first game in Nashville.

  6. Shouldn’t even be a question. Let them build their team, not patchwork the leftovers from the Robinson era

We don’t turn a corner in the next few years then get that seat hot. See if Vrabel fully commits to Kelly as OC but he probably deserves another year, even with piece of shit game Sunday included unless he continued to not learn

  7. It’s fair to give Vrabel another year. Music City Audible made a great point in their latest podcast-49ers lost 3 games in a row went Trent Williams went down. Having our OL makes the offense totally untenable. I’m coming down from my recent anger after that horror show on Sunday. Vrabel and Kelly have absolutely nothing to work with. Just like we can’t judge Levis fairly, I don’t think we can judge Vrabel and Kelly fairly with this OL. I’m pulling for them to make a massive turnaround with a good draft pick and some money to spend.

  8. It never happen, but would love to see belichick replace him. He’s from nashville so, he already has plenty of connection here.

  9. We would have to be close to winless for Vrabel to get the axe next year. We lost a whole bunch of close games with an absolutely terrible roster this year so I don’t see that happening.

Probably going to need to win the division or 10 games 2 years from now though.

  10. Lets see what vrabel can do. If he’s not a good as people are starting to think then we can bring someone new in 2025 with an in theory improved roster and a higher draft pick.

  11. Makes sense. Next year though? He’s gone if he doesn’t fix the OL. Ms. Amy don’t play with bad OL’s.

  12. If Vrabel decides to keep his coaching staff and we still don’t see improvements especially on the offensive side of things next year, then they all need to go.

  13. Well if his blunders with his coaching staff don’t ever improve then he’ll probably be gone, I mean I question why in the world he hired someone as an offensive line coach with little to no experience?

  14. It’s more than just us having $100+ more cap space available next year. We have literally 50%+ of our cap space going to dead cap ($57M), Tannehill ($36.6M), and Henry ($16M) this year. In theory, a well managed team has almost double the assets next year. Obviously, a lot of that is going to come down to who we get in free agency, and how well we hit on the draft. But barring FA players outright choosing not to play for us, there’s no reason we shouldn’t win at least eight games next year.

  15. There’s always a chance a coach gets booted, but there would have to be a total meltdown early in the season next year for Vrabes to exit anytime before 2025.

It has been less than 2(!!!) years since he won coach of the year. All this talk of firing him over the last season and a half is total nonsense.
