A look at the season that Robert Thomas has been having! (12/15)

He’s on pace to have a career year, and I think he can exceed what the point pace says if him and Kyrou start clicking more. I’m really impressed with how he’s been shooting the puck this year as well, hopefully he keeps it up!
Defensive Impact is the weighted value a player provides on defense.
Overall Performance Index sums their Defensive Impact score with the weighted value of their offensive performance.
He is good
So smooth

Overall 92nd percentile being your best player (by a lot) just means we’re really short on top talent. On an average 24-man roster, that percentile would make you a low-end second best player or high-end third best player. The All-Star game has 44 players. This data is saying that Robert Thomas, as our best player, having a career year is still not all that close to being an All-Star. And from a team perspective, it’s a pretty steep decline to our second best performing player.
He’s ok
Rob Tom is elite
In Thomas, we trust. Amen.
And he’s still improving too
I’ve said before that Thomas reminds me of guys like Brayden Point and Mitch Marner. High praise I know, but Thomas has the talent, and we’re seeing it right now.
