We got him
This guy was impressive terrible last year with a sub .550 OPS in nearly 300 ABs.
He has some decent stat lines in ‘22 and ‘23 before being traded. I’m okay with this as a backup to Contreras.
Was curious if we would try to fix Gary Sanchez but Haase is kind of like Walmart brand Sanchez but with more defensive potential. Haase has big power and if he becomes a plus defender he would be a great backup.

Last year’s hitting numbers were terrible of course but the thing that really stood out to me was his career -9 DRS. Hopefully he’s more of the ’21-’22 version of himself than the ’23 edition at the plate and he takes to the catching lab like Contreras did.
